Success Lab Partners
Welcome! You’ve found a community of ambitious young professionals who are building their careers—and each other—up. We’re not here to commiserate about what’s missing. We’re here for those already excelling in their roles but craving more: in-person learning and practice, deeper engagement, fresh opportunities, and a built-in professional network.
Why Success Lab?
The Insecurity That Comes from Living Your Work Life Online
Young adults are facing a well-documented loneliness crisis. That hit to your confidence that comes from viewing your peers’ LinkedIn profiles? That can hold you back from enlisting others in your career search and professional development. The workplace, once a hub for connection and identity, now too often leaves early professionals isolated and adrift. The result? A lack of both opportunity to connect and skills for connecting.
The Learning Gap of the Flexible Workforce
Hybrid and remote work may offer flexibility, but they’ve stripped away everyday learning moments: overhearing a tough client call, debriefing after a meeting, or watching a seasoned leader navigate conflict. What was once absorbed organically now has to be learned with intention. This isn’t a generational flaw — it’s a systems gap.
The Professional Development You’re Missing Out On
Today’s early career professionals face a perfect storm. Post-Covid workplaces with remote and hybrid work arrangements, tighter hiring budgets, and the rise of AI have left many young professionals under-supported, underdeveloped, and uncertain. As Gen Z and younger Millennials have entered the workforce, companies are scaling back investment in early talent, including onboarding and new hire programs, internal career planning, and ongoing skills and leadership development— leaving them without both formal training and the informal networking that once shaped careers.
AI and the Vanishing First Rung
AI is also reshaping entry-level work. Administrative and support roles that once served as launchpads are disappearing — roles that used to provide invaluable proximity to mentors, exposure to leaders, and a safe space to build skills. Without them, the first rung of the career ladder is increasingly fragile.
